What is Impaired Glucose Tolerance (IGT)?
Before people develop type 2 diabetes/ they almost always have an asymptomatic condition called “prediabetes.” Also known as “impaired glucose tolerance,” prediabetes is a term that refers to who have blood glucose levels that are higher than normal/ but are not high enough to be classified as diabetes.
People with impaired glucose tolerance face a greater risk of developing diabetes/ cardiovascular disease/ including high blood pressure/ increased cholesterol levels/ being overweight or obese.
Why you need Alpha Lipoic Acid, Methylcobalamin, Multivitamins & Minerals?
Alpha lipoic acid:
A powerful and effective both fat and water soluble antioxidant. It reduces oxidative stress.
Alpha lipoic acid stimulates glucose uptake by muscle cells similar to insulin and also found 50% improvement in insulin stimulated glucose uptake.
It effectively helps in prevention of diabetes and neuropathy complications.
Methylcobalamin:
Methylcobalamin is the most potent form of Vitamin B 12 found in nature. We need methylcobalamin for the healthy development and sustenance of our circulatory/ immune and nervous systems.
Vitamin B 12 is important for the way the body works/ and people who don’t have enough of it may feel tired or have a lack of energy
Vitamin B 12 helps in the production of healthy red blood cells that carry oxygen around the body.
Calcium D-Pantothenate:
Calcium D-pantothenate/ also referred to as vitamin B-5 or pantothenic acid. It is a component of coenzyme A (CoA) an essential coenzyme in a variety of reactions that sustain life. CoA is required for chemical reactions that generate energy from fat/ carbohydrates/ and proteins. The synthesis of essential fats/ cholesterol, and steroid hormones requires CoA) as does the synthesis of the neurotransmitter/ acetylcholine/ and the hormone/ melatonin. Heme, a component of hemoglobin, requires a CoA-containing compound for its synthesis. Metabolism of a number of drugs and toxins by the liver requires CoA.
Vitamin B6:
Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) is a water-soluble vitamin; it helps the body to metabolize proteins and carbohydrates for energy.
Vitamin B6/ is used to aid the body in the processing of amino acids/ it helps amino acids to be absorbed by the intestines/ synthesized/ and broken down. Pyridoxine aids in the conversion of tryptophan (an amino acid) into both niacin (vitamin B3) and serotonin (a brain chemical).
Vitamin B6 helps to promote a healthy immune system and maintain proper immune system function.
It is required for normal brain and central nervous system function. Pyridoxine is particularly crucial for maintaining the health of nerve and muscle cells
It plays a critical role in the formation of both red and white blood cells. It also helps to guard the heart by inhibiting cholesterol deposits,
Vitamin B6 is also needed for proper absorption of vitamin B 12 to occur.
Folic acid (vitamin B9):
It is an essential nutrient primarily because it is needed for the production and the maintenance of new cells in your body. This becomes increasingly important during periods where there is rapid cell growth and division such as during pregnancy for women and infancy in children.
Folic acid is also needed for the replication of the DNA in your body and in maintaining normal levels of red blood cells in your bone marrow. Folic acid helps prevent congenital malformations and birth defects in the brain and the spinal cord of your developing baby. It is also used Widely for preventing anemia, some forms of cancer, and skin ulcers.
Chromium, Zinc & Selenium helps
In maintenance of immune system, convalescence, Bacterial infection and in general debility & weakness.
Indications
Why you need Biobetic®?
It has effective dose (300 mg) of Alpha lipoic acid that potentially helps as an adjuvant in diabetes mellitus management.
Methylcobalamin is the only active Form and most potent form of Vitamin B12 found in nature & in the brain outside the mitochondrion.
It has optimum potency of vitamins and mineral that effectively helps in impaired glucose tolerance, diabetes management and improvement of nerve Function.
